Level II Executive Consultant Michael Galanes from Hollywood, Florida, has been involved in the pageant industry for over 20 years. He is a National Director for America’s Perfect Preteen, Junior Teen, Teen, Miss and Woman, appears in his own television show,
Little Miss Perfect, on WE TV, owns Little Miss Citrus, and served as State Director with Miss Universe/NBC Television for nearly a decade. Michael worked as an Account Executive for the men’s division at a top retail skincare company for many years, so he appreciates good skincare. When a friend of his from the pageant industry contacted him about Rodan + Fields®, Michael quickly recognized the opportunity and enrolled as a Consultant in March 2012. He began using the products and noticed great results: "The products are changing my complexion. I feel I look 10 years younger, and that’s a good thing," he says. Although he probably won’t give up his pageant work, Michael sees Rodan + Fields as "the career of a lifetime."
Even working "100 hours a week" with his pageant responsibilities, Michael wasted no time getting his Rodan + Fields business off and running. He quickly enrolled several Consultants, qualified for his iPad, and used his strong belief in the products, the company and the opportunity to motivate his team members to follow his lead and earn an iPad of their own. Michael feels one key reason his team has been successful is because they are so zealous about the product line. He sees Rodan + Fields as a perfect fit for pageant contestants since it can give them better skin and help them gain stage presence and confidence. Additionally, the iStart Program is a fantastic incentive opportunity since it offers a means to demonstrate the tangible rewards possible through a career with Rodan + Fields. In fact, he treats his iPad like a crown: "I think you speak with more legitimacy when people can see that you are successful. People want to hear what you have to say, they want to listen to an inspirational success story."
