She Looks, Well, Like a Normal Mom
That crazy tanorexic mom from New Jersey who told everyone who had a problem with her creepy over-tan that they were just "jealous, fat and ugly"? She's finally stepped away from the tanning bed, and -- no surprise -- looks like a regular human being once again.And we mean that as a good thing, (No Longer) Tanning Mom.
Tanning Mom, a.k.a. Patricia Krentcil, is featured in the new issue of In Touch magazine (courtesy of Jezebel.com), where she shows off her new, less orange-y face, but says she feels "weird and pale" post-tanning addiction.

Oh, and she wouldn't admit that her overtanning (she went four or five times a week) was an addiction, though she said she did have moments where she felt like she needed to be tan.
The former model, now a mom of five who became known as "Tanning Mom" after her 5-year-old daughter told a school nurse that her 44-year-old mom had taken her tanning, stopped hitting the tanning bed for a month, as part of a challenge by In Touch.
She passed the tanning bed portion of the challenge, though she confessed that she didn't exactly go cold turkey, as she continued to use self-tanning lotion.
Still, a huge improvement, no?

Krentcil, who also says she doesn't think the tanning habit has made her look older than she is, tells In Touch she isn't ruling out a return to the tanning booth.
"I might squeeze in a tan here or there," she says. "I wish none of this had ever happened; it was blown out of proportion. And that's the other thing -- I am sick of talking about tanning!" You and us both, sister.
