Finding Your Freedom

As my good friend Barbie Bassett says: “There is a vast difference between wanting to and willingness.”

I worked very hard to live a life that I love–I was willing to “do whatever it takes” to build the life of fun and freedom for my family that we wanted! My motto has always been: “I can do anything for a short period of time to provide the time and financial freedom my family deserves.”

When I started my network marketing business I had a full time teaching career, was supporting my husband’s business, was active in my church and community, and was taking college credits on top of that. I juggled a lot, but took things day by day–consistently working my business daily–and it paid off! I retired in my 20′s and now live the life I’ve always wanted to.

As some of my friends and family returned back to work at a job some didn’t love–and wished back the holiday weekend–I was extremely grateful that I worked very hard over the past 5 years in my network marketing business to be able to enjoy every day with my family and friends. To me, each day seems like a holiday.

Like myself, my mother also earns a 7 figure annual income in network marketing. Needless to say, this profession changed our family’s life! As we pulled up to our beautiful home on the lake after waterskiing, my mom began to cry and hugged me and said: “I’m so proud of you Sarah–who would have ever thought our lives would look this way?” (she just bought a dream home on the lake too).

This Monday (the day after Fourth of July weekend with family and friends) I reflect on why everyone doesn’t choose this life–why doesn’t everyone go the distance in their home based business? Perhaps it’s that their “willing to” isn’t as a great as their “want to”.

My motivation continues to be this–time freedom and financial freedom–so I can live a life that I love, with the people I love. And to me, that’s all I need to motivate me. I am willing to do what it takes to provide the time and financial freedom that my family deserves…so we can live the life that we want to live.

Are you WILLING to do the work it takes to live the life you WANT? If so, then every day can look and feel like a holiday…every day can be your very own “Independence Day”! Freedom isn’t free, but it’s so worth it!
